Bob and Caroline (Stanger) Gotwals recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Gotwals' children hosted a family dinner at the Kopper Kettle in Morristown.
Mr. and Mrs. Gotwals were united in marriage June 16, 1962, at Spencer Christian Church in Spencer, Ind.
Caroline is presently an aide at Rushville Elementary East. Bob retired from Rush Shelby Energy and now reads meters for them. He also spends numerous hours volunteering for the Masons and Shriners.
Bob and Caroline have three children, Michelle (Shawn) Orme, Arlington; Melinda (Mike) Gerrish, Shirley; and Eric (Kim) Gotwals, Anderson; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
