RUSHVILLE —
Mr. and Mrs. Walt and Kay (Addison) McMahan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 28, 2011.
They both graduated from Carthage High School and have resided in Arlington for nearly 50 years. Walt retired from Eli Lilly and Company. Kay has worked as a seamstress. They are active in the Little Blue River Friends Church.
They have two children, Monty (Brenda) McMahan from Arlington and Mark (Mindy) McMahan from Shirley; five grandchildren, Scott McMahan from Arlington, Rick McMahan from Rushville, and Meghan McMahan, Brad Morris and Brent Morris, all of Shirley.

Bob and Lela Self of Rushville will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012
Bob and Lela (Fancher) Self were united in marriage on Nov. 23, 1947, at the Hannegan Christian Church near Rushville.
Bob is the son of the late Willard and Lydia Self and Lela is the daughter of the late Donald and Martha Fancher.
They are the proud parents of six children: Brenda and (Bill) Dean of Luzerne, Mich., Terry and (Mark) VanNatta of Falmouth, Barbara and (Rick) Masters of Radford, Va., Joni and (Gary) Irwin of Indianapolis, Julie and (Jeff) Allen of Greenwood and Robert and (Tina) Self, also of Greenwood. They have 21 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren with two more on the way.
Bob is retired from the Rush County Schools as Director of Buildings and Grounds and Lela is retired from the Rushville National Bank. -

Charley is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steve Logan of Slemp, Ky.
JoAnn is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wilhelm of Rushville.
Charley and JoAnn are the parents of daughter Ronda Lynn (Logan) Ralstin. She married James “Jamie” Ralstin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Ralstin of Rushville.
Mr. and Mrs. Logan have two grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
