Jerry and JoAnn (Merrell) Herbert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24, 2012.
Both are enjoying retirement; Jerry retired from the Hoosier Company and JoAnn retired from the Rush County Assessor's Office.
They are the parents of Chris (Mike) Davenport, J.D. (Kris) Herbert, Sara (Bob) Hastings and Kelley (Bruce) Carter. They have nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
They will be celebrating with a family dinner at the Kopper Kettle in Morristown.
