RushShelby Energy has been recognized with two national awards by the Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) at their annual conference.
The 2011 annual meeting CEO speech of Terry Jobe, RushShelby Energy President & CEO, was recognized with the top award in the speechwriting category. He collaborated with Dave Sheets, Sr. Vice President on this project. Sheets was also recognized for his photo of RushShelby Energy employees posing with the digger truck the cooperative donated to international relief efforts in Haiti.
CCA is professional association of cooperative communicators from around the United States. All types of cooperative businesses; electric, ag supply, grain, credit union, dairy, financial, housing; are
represented with membership. The CCA national institute includes an awards program honoring member cooperative communicators in more than two dozen categories.
RushShelby Energy is an electric cooperative serving nearly 12,000 members in nine southeast Indiana counties.
