Promoted to executive accountant
Jane Smiley CPA, 640 E. 11th Street, Rushville, is happy to announce the promotion of Brooke Cooper within the firm to the position of Executive Accountant. Cooper holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. She will be specializing in ministerial and clergy tax preparation and consultation as well as individual and business tax. Additionally, she will be working with client payroll as well as providing outsourced client bookkeeping services. She is married to the Rev. Darryl Cooper, Pastor of the Family Worship Center, Rushville. As a minister’s wife, she has first-hand experience with the challenges pertaining to tax preparation for the ministry/clergy and is excited to be able to assist ministers and their families with their unique tax needs.
