RUSHVILLE —
Marena Faith Vittorio, daughter of the Rev. Dena Vittorio and the late Michael Vittorio, and step-daughter of Dennis Simmons, with her fiance Garrett Adam Schindler, son of George and Virginia Schindler, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be graduated in 2003 from Clarinda High School, Iowa; in 2007 from DePauw University with a double major in organ performance and anthropology; and in 2009 from Emory University with a graduate degree in sacred music/organ performance. She is currently finishing a Master of Divinity degree at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
The prospective groom graduated in 2001 from New Washington High School; in 2006 from Indiana State University with a major in mathematics; and recently graduated with his Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
The couple will be united in marriage on Oct. 29, 2011 at North Christian Church in Columbus. They are planning a honeymoon to Peru next summer.
The couple will begin their married life in Louisville, Ky.
