Katie Jean Foote and Jayson Conrad Martin would like to announce their engagement and approaching marriage. The couple is planning a 5:30 p.m. June 30, 2007 wedding at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Kettering, Ohio with Rev. Bob Wade officiating.
The daughter of Debra Foote of Kettering, Ohio and David Foote of Cincinnati, Ohio, the bride-elect graduated in 2002 from Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio. She then moved to Greencastle where she attended DePauw University, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing. She now lives and works in Greencastle as an admission officer for DePauw University.
The son of Eric and Alyce Martin of Milroy, the prospective groom graduated from Rushville Consolidated High
School in 1999 and moved to Crawfordsville in the fall where he attended Wabash College. He graduated from
Wabash in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and moved to Greencastle to enter the graduate assistant program offered through DePauw University. As a graduate assistant for the DePauw baseball team, he completed his Master of Arts in Recreation and Sport Management from Indiana State in 2005. In August 2006 he was hired full-time as the assistant head baseball coach at DePauw University where he continues to work.
