Come hop in your socks and dance till you drop at the Laurel Community Sock Hop. Come and join us from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday where we will be dancing the night away. This night of fun will take place in Laurel at the Community Center Gym.
There will be plenty of fun and exciting things to do. We will be having a contest for the best dressed single and the best dressed couple of the night. We will also have a limbo contest, hula hoop contest and “The Twist” contest, so dust off those hips, ladies, and put on your skirts – this will be a great time.
Advance tickets are available or you can purchase tickets at the door. Prices for advance tickets are $15 per couple ($20 at the door) or $8 for singles ($10 at the door) – kids 12 and under will be $1. Refreshments will be available.
Please come out and support our cause. All proceeds go to the Laurel Town Park for the children of the town. This event is sponsored and organized by the Laurel Youth Council. Please come and plan to stay; not only will this be fun, but it will be a great way to come out and help your town or neighboring town.
If you have any questions, need details about this event, or would like to donate or help in any way, please contact Lori Marshall 765-561-6420 or Brian Patterson 647-0200.
