Entertainment on the Plaza 2009 will feature a free performance by Carmel Brass at the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza in downtown Greenfield at 7 p.m. Friday.
As Indiana’s only fully professional large brass ensemble, Carmel Brass draws its members from the ranks of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra as well as the faculties of Indiana, Butler, Purdue and Ball State universities.
Under the direction of Thomas Akins, this 17 piece large brass ensemble will perform a selection of patriotic tunes.
The concert will take place on the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza in downtown Greenfield. The audience should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
Due to construction at Greenfield-Central High School, there will be no rain site and no rain dates.
