Movie preview: “21 And Over”

Rated: R for crude and sexual content, pervasive language, some graphic nudity, drugs and drinking

Running time: 1 hr 33 min

Cast: Miles Teller, Skylar Astin, Justin Chon, Jonathan Keltz, Francois Chau

Plot: Straight A college student Jeff has always done what he was supposed to do. But when his best friends take him out for his 21st birthday on the night before an important medical school interview, Jeff snaps and decides to do everything he wants to do. What was supposed to be a quick drink becomes a night of humiliation, over indulgence and utter debauchery in this coming-of-drinking-age-comedy from the writers of “The Hangover.”

  • St. Joe Festival underway in Shelbyville

    The carnival rides, games and food booths are back for another year at the St. Joseph Parish Spring Festival on the corner of Broadway and Noble Streets in Shelbyville. The festival kicked off Thursday and runs through Saturday night. The annual fried chicken dinner will continue Sunday following the festival at the Knights of Columbus.
