wedding: Thomas-Peggs

Erika Anne Thomas and John Irvin Peggs were married at 5:30 p.m. July 11, 2009 at Center Christian Church. Bill Worrell officiated the double ring ceremony. Organist was Natasha Orme.

The bride wore a white strapless dress with beading on the top and along the bottom. Calla lilies made up the bouquet.

Matron of Honor was Brianne Plewke, Evansville, sister. Bridesmaids were Angel Keal, Rushville, friend; Rose Stafford, Indianapolis, friend. Macy Hoeing was flower girl.

Best Man was Jay Peggs, Rushville, brother. Groom’s attendants were Jim Keal, Rushville, friend; Nick McCallister, Rushville, friend. Ring bearer was Nicholas Hoeing.

Guests were registered by Angela Cross and Deanna Boyd.

The reception was at the Root Building at the Rush County Fairgrounds. Servers were Katie Bunner, Sarah Goddard, Lauren Goddard.

Grandparents attending were Mona Dale Thomas, Frank and Dorothy Thomas.

The rehearsal dinner was at Center Christian Church.

The daughter of David and Susan Thomas of Rushville, the bride attended Rushville Consolidated High School and Franklin College. She currently is a first grade teacher and JV girls basketball coach at Blue River Valley Schools.

The son of Denny and Carole Peggs of Rushville, the groom attended RCHS and Northminster in Ohio. He currently is a farmer.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Rushville.
