THURSDAY (6/18)
n Rush County Health Department will hold a senior screening from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Raleigh Community Center. There will be screening for weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, hemoglobin, blood sugar and hemocult testing. Also, health education will be included during the screening program. This is available to all Rush County senior citizens at no cost. For those not in the Raleigh area, screening will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 105 of the courthouse.
n RMH Sheehan Cancer Center Support Group invites anyone interested to attend its monthly support group at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Center, 110 E. 13th Street, Rushville. Bring friends and family. Open to anyone regardless of where you are being treated. Questions: 765-932-7534.

n The RHS/RCHS Alumni Association 52nd annual reunion banquet will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Rushville Elementary School cafeteria. Reservations ($12) due by Saturday to Cinda Pavey, PO Box 134, Rushville IN 46173. At the door $15. Dues $10. Doors open 5 p.m.
n Knights of Columbus No. 769 will have a chicken fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Price is $8.50 for adults and children are $5.50. All you can eat (dine in only). Carry-outs available. The public is invited to attend.
n Wortman-Lowe Enduring Freedom Detachment of the Marine Corps League is having a breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at American Legion Post No. 102 in Morristown. Price is $5. Public invited.
n The sixth annual garden tour sponsored by Xi Eta Xi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Rain date June 27. Tour donation $6.

n The Board of Health for Rush County will hold its monthly meetings at 7 p.m. every third Tuesday except for December, when there is not a scheduled meeting.
n The Alzheimer’s Association offers support groups for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias. Participants receive emotional support, practical assistance in coping with issues they face and the latest information about research. Meetings are confidential and free. Meetings are held in Rushville at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at Rush Memorial Hospital, 1300 N. Main Street, third floor conference room.
