NARFE conducted July meeting

RUSHVILLE —

Chapter 0813 of NARFE met July 20 at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Greensburg. President Eva Stone conducted the meeting. State Senator Jean Leising — who serves Decatur, Fayette, Rush and Shelby counties — presented a program. It was announced that the program for the August meeting will be the last part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition by Jeff Ton. The July birthday of Pat Springman and anniversary of Rosalyn McQueen were acknowledged. The attendance prize was won by Kay Hineman. The next meeting will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at Ponderosa with optional lunch following the meeting.
