As of November 2012, just 8.5 percent of the more than 5,300 U.S. hospitals tracked by HIMSS Analytics had reached Stage 6 on its Electronic Medical Record Adoption ModelSM (EMRAM). As of November 2012, there are 442 US hospitals that have achieved Stage 6.
