Mahalo

RUSHVILLE — Dear Editor:

In keeping with this year’s homecoming theme the students, teachers and administrators of Rushville Consolidated High School want to say mahalo (thank you), mahalo nui loi (thank you very much) for helping make this year’s homecoming celebration a huge success.

A special mahalo goes out to Dave Buening, our police, firefighters, and EMTs ensuring a safe and great parade. You are no ka`oi (the best). The class floats, band, cheerleaders, alumni float and especially all who turned out to watch the parade made this the best event ever.

A huge mahalo to Matt Vance, Kirk Amman, and Robert Hadley for inviting us to mai`ai (come and eat) at the All School Cookout. Ka makani`olu`olu (refreshing, perfect wind) and great food was enjoyed by all.

A hui kaua (until we meet again) - Go Lions!
