Holiday Expo 2009 was a success
Dear Editor:
Rushville Victim's Assistance, Inc. would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support of the Holiday Expo held at the Rushville Elementary gyms Nov. 14, 2009.
We would especially like to thank all of the vendors Tom Owens and the Rushville Elementary School custodial staff; Jane Hallgarth from RES; the Rushville Pharmacy for passing out flyers; all of the elementary schools in the county for sending flyers home with their students; Glenda Smith and Jane, Abbie and Josie Starkey for their invaluable help during the Expo; and all of you who attended and hopefully started your Christmas shopping.
The proceeds will be used to help with the renovation of the Phoenix House shelter at 924 N. Main Street, Rushville. Progress is being made and we will hopefully be able to open the much needed facility in the summer of 2010.
Thanks again to everyone for making the 2009 Holiday Expo such a success.
