Dear Editor: On behalf of the Riverside Park Organizing Committee, I would like to apologize to our local Dairy Queen. Due to an oversight on our part, Dairy Queen was not mentioned in an article about Community Day that ran in the Rushville Republican. Dairy Queen was very generous in donating to our Silent Auction as well as providing some items we used for the food preparation for Community Day. Dairy Queen has always been a great partner to us for our event. We also want to thank Curly for coming to visit every year. He always helps us out during the cake walk and makes it a fun atmosphere for all. Again, we apologize for the oversight. We believe Dairy Queen is a valuable partner to us and to our community.
