Dear Editor:
The staff and board of the Rush County Community Foundation want to take this opportunity to thank The Sampler in Homer for holding their second annual “Give Back Month” in April.
We also want to thank our supporters who participated in their promotion and chose the Rush County Community Foundation as their charity of choice. Their efforts went to support five funds within the Foundation.
Without the continued support of the Rush County community and our supporters who live outside the county we would not be in our 18th year of meeting the philanthropic needs of Rush County.
Once again, thank you, Bruce and Linda, for your support of not only the foundation, but all qualified charitable organizations in Rush County with your annual “Give Back Month”
Garry E. Cooley, Executive Director
Terry B. VanNatta, Assistant Executive Director and CFO

Parking on Jackson
In regards to Jackson Street being turned into a two-way street, I think it is time that the city stops people from parking the way they did when the restaurant was there. It is a hazard and makes it impossible to drive when there is oncoming traffic.
