My daughters and I thank you

RUSHVILLE — Dear Editor:

I would like to thank everyone with all my heart for the prayers and support which was tremendous for my daughters, Ashley and Jessica, through a terrible tragedy that happened.

I am so thankful to have such a strong family, friends and people we don’t know, for the outpouring of prayers and thoughts for us.

Without this support and prayer, it would have been difficult for us to go through this alone.

Again, my daughters and I thank you for everything you have done.

  • Library should be county-wide

    Dear Editor:
    I read with interest Paul Barada’s column proposing that the Rushville Library should become a county facility.
    Way back in 1990, shortly after I became publisher of the Rushville Republican, I approached the director of the library, informing her that I wished to put the entire resources of the local newspaper behind a drive to convert the city library to a county library.
