RUSHVILLE —
Dr. Seuss is on the loose, but he can be caught at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the school administration building (Eighth and Jackson Streets).
The Rushville Public Library is sponsoring ÒA Tribute to Dr. Seuss,Ó a fun-filled, free program for the whole family. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Thanks to a couple of generous donations from library patrons, professional storyteller Don Miller from Family Fun Time Entertainment will be in town to give his salute to the creator of the ÒCat in the Hat,Ó Òthe Grinch,Ó and ÒSam I Am!Ó
This 45-minute program is sure to be enjoyed by ÒWhosÓ of all ages.
The Rushville Public LibraryÕs summer reading program ÒSuper Reading HeroesÓ has begun.
More than 100 people from babies to grandparents have signed up and more people join every day. Registration will go on through June.
The reading program continues until July 9.
In conjunction with ÒSuper Reading HeroesÓ the library is offering preschool storytimes, crafts for school-aged children, and the Dr. Seuss tribute during the upcoming week.
A calendar of events is available when readers sign up to be a super reading hero.
Remember, no one is too young or too old to join in the fun of summer reading at the library. So have a helping of green eggs and ham, hop on pop, and plan on attending ÒA Tribute to Dr. SeussÓ Wednesday.
The library expects every Who, the small and the tall, to attend.
