Rushville Public Library offering free programs

After school programs, Toddler Time, Preschool Story Time start in September

The school year has started and Rushville Public Library is ready to start several special activities for local children and youths.

After school programs for children in kindergarten through sixth grade are planned under the direction of Pam Vogel with Jan Garrison assisting.

The library will have a free program for children in kindergarten through third grade from 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 3. Come to the meeting room at the library for fun, games and refreshments.

A similar program is offered for children in grades four through six from 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 10.

Jan Garrison is now the YA/Adult Services Coordinator at the local library. She will be assisted with the YA (Young Adult) program by Pam Vogel.

The library will have a free program for anyone in grades seven through 12 from 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 17 in the meeting room at the library. Fun, games and refreshments are on the agenda.

For more information or to sign up for one of the programs call the library at 765-932-3496 and ask for Pam Vogel or Jan Garrison.

You have your choice of times, Miss Pam noted: 10 a.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Thursday.

“We’ll have stories, games, crafts, special visitors,” she added.
