Regarding Tuesday’s story, “Woman airlifted after being struck by vehicle”: Bertha Morris, driver of the car involved, contacted the Rushville Republican Tuesday morning and said that contrary to what was stated in our story, at no point did she see the injured pedestrian, Cheryl Oaks, 53, of Glenwood, prior to striking her.
