RUSHVILLE —
During a recent ceremony at the Rushville Elks Lodge, Rushville resident and retired U.S. Air Force pilot Marc Ellis was named the 2012 Elks Veteran of the Year. Denny Mahan (right) introduced Ellis and cited many of the veteran’s efforts while he served in the U.S. Air Force as a B24 pilot and, following his retirement, continued efforts to serve veterans of Rush County.

RushShelby offices closed Friday
RushShelby Energy has announced that their offices will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 17 so the employees may attend the funeral of Dennis Rhoades, a 33 year employee of the cooperative. Emergency phones will be answered during the office closure.
