12th local Relay for Life begins today
Preparations have been made, teams have been formed and beginning at 6 p.m. today participants in this year’s local American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraising event will gather in South Veterans Memorial Park for the 24-hour event.

Georgia Satellites free concert Saturday
Southern rockers The Georgia Satellites will take the Rushville Riverside Park Amphitheater stage Saturday, June 15. This legendary band is best known for their Billboard hit “Keep Your Hands To Yourself,” along with “Battleship Chains” and “Hippy Hippy Shake.” This free event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Park Amphitheater in Rushville, located at 100 West Water Street.
