RUSHVILLE —
Wilma Irene Browning Price Ricker, 93, a lifetime Rush County resident, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 in Rushville.
She was born March 26, 1919 in Rush County to Arthur Elijah and Ruby Love (Perkins) Browning. She was a 1937 graduate of New Salem High School. She married Lowell Irvin Price April 6, 1941; he preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1970. She married Luther Ricker Jr. Oct. 15, 1972; he preceded her in death May 25, 1985.
Wilma was a member of Arlington Christian Church. She worked many years at ASCS. She was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her son, John (Becky) Price of Rushville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, Wilma was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan J. Beaty, and many brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24 in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Bob Brock will preside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Arlington Christian Church.
