RUSHVILLE — Mark A. Ruble, 61, and Virginia M. Ruble, 59, of Arlington, passed away at their residence.

Mark was born Feb. 2, 1951 in Rushville, a son of the late Theodore E. (Ted) and Edna E. (Ralston) Ruble. He graduated from Rush Consolidated High School in 1969. He married Virginia Sampson Sept. 21, 1972. He worked at Print Pak in Greensburg as a printer over 28 years. He and his wife loved gardening.

Virginia M. (Sampson) Ruble was born April 19, 1953 in Elizabeth, N.J., a daughter of the late Richard H. Sampson, who died in 2006, and Stella T. (Suszek) Sampson, who survives. She was a 1971 graduate of Rush Consolidated High School and was a homemaker.

Mark and Virginia had two children, a son, John (Deanna) Ruble of Richmond, Ky., and daughter, Ann Marie Ruble of Greencastle.

In addition to his children, Mark’s surviving family includes three brothers, John (Mary Jo) Ruble of Waldron, Gary (Debby) Ruble of Hillard, Fla., Thomas (Teresa) Ruble of Shelbyville; three sisters, Judy (Paul) McDowell of Rushville, Joy Hunsinger and Cindy McClurg, both of Milroy. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her children, Virginia’s surviving family includes her mother, Stella Sampson of Arlington; two brothers, Gerald (Verna)Sampson of Boston, Roger (Lisa) Sampson of Arlington; sisters, JoAnn Sampson of Greensburg, Barbara (Michael) Brewer of Knightstown. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at Todd Funeral Centre and Crematory, Rushville with Pastor Garry Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
