RUSHVILLE —
Betty Decatur, 78, Rushville, passed away Jan. 28, 2013.
Betty was born June 16, 1934 in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Inice M. (Pierson) and Carl Thurston.
She was head cashier at Standard Grocery.
Betty is survived by her husband, Bob Decatur; three sons, Robert (Kim) Decatur of Indianapolis, Kenneth (Cristine) Decatur of Richmond and Michael (Diane) Decatur of Beech Grove; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a son, Donald Decatur; a brother, Carl (Buck) Thurston; and one granddaughter.
Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy, with Rev. Phillip Mitchell officiating. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in East Brook Cemetery, Milroy.
