Rushville Republican

RUSHVILLE — Janet M. Solomon, 73, of Noblesville, passed away Feb. 10, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 21, 1939 in Crandon, Wis., a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Getty) Converse. She was retired from RCA/Thompson Electronics after 35 years of service.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Lester (Militine) Solomon of Columbus and Gary (Tammy) Solomon of Noblesville; one sister, Sharon McQueary of Noblesville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Janet was preceded in death by one son, Paul Jackson; two sisters, Helen Brooks and Lois Davis; two brothers, Sonny Converse and her twin brother, Gerald Converse.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory, Rushville, with Pastor Darryl Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday.
