RUSHVILLE —  

Gayle C. Binder, 62, of Rush County, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 in Rush County. Born Jan. 22, 1948 in Anderson, she was the daughter of Loran and Martha (Rushton) Morrison. She married Jerry Binder July 12, 1980; he survives. Gayle was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma and the Women's Circle at 11th Street Church of Christ. She graduated from Anderson Highland High School in 1966. She was the apartment manager at Bethel Manor Apartments in Rushville as well as a real estate agent for Schroeder-Hoff Real Estate. She was a member of Cumberland Christian Church and Rushville Church of Christ. In addition to her husband, Gayle leaves behind sons, Shawn Binder of Decatur, Jerry Lee (and wife, Ruthie) Maggart of Alexandria and Loran (and wife, Peggy) Wilber of Indianapolis; daughters, Mrs. Paul (Heidi) Doss of Evansville, Karena Binder (and companion, Mike Land) of Rushville and Jamie (Willie) Miller of Milroy; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 22 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the mortuary. Gayle will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Center at Hancock Regional Hospital or the Hospice of Decatur County.
