Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Green, 56

Elizabeth Ann “Betty” (Busald) Green, 56, of Rushville, died Aug. 13, 2009.

Born April 13, 1953 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Raymond Anthony and Mary Theresa (Schmitter) Busald; her mother, of Rushville, survives. She married Daniel Allen Green April 24, 1976; he survives.

Mrs. Green was a lifelong resident of Rush County where she and her husband have been photographers for 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville where she served on the PTO and the Board of Total Catholic Education for 8 years. She was recently recognized by the Rushville Republican as a Woman in Business, published Oct. 17, 2008. On June 20, 2009 the RHS/RCHS Alumni Association presented her with a service award in recognition for many years of loyalty, dedication, and hard work.

Survivors in addition to her mother and husband include sons, John Anthony (Theresa Mitchel) Green of Westfield and Christopher (Cheng Hui) Green of Lansing, Mich.; grandchildren, Bridget Green and Anthony Green; brothers, Jim Busald of Shelbyville, Carl (Robin) Busald of Rushville and Paul (Michelle) Busald of Rushville; sisters, Helen Busald of Rushville, Marylin (Art) Kozlowski of Oak Forrest, Ill., and Esther (Burk) Sibrel of Grandview.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with the Rev. William Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, where a rosary service will be held at 1:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rush County Community Foundation Operating Fund, 117 North Main Rushville, IN 46173.
