RUSHVILLE — Alice St. Hilaire, 86, of Rushville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 in Rushville.

Alice was born Jan. 7, 1926 in New York, N.Y. to the late Charles and Mary (Havrila) Varga. She was a 1943 graduate of Windham High School in Connecticut. She lived her early life in Connecticut and later lived 37 years in Naples, Bonita Springs and St. Petersburg, Fla. and lived in Rushville the last several years.

Alice married John S. Ursin Jan. 20, 1945; he preceded her in death May 20, 1979. She later married Xavier St. Hilaire June 12, 1982; he preceded her in 1990.

Alice worked as a nurse aide and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Naples, Fla.

Alice leaves behind two sons, Charles Ursin of St. Petersburg, Fla. and John Ursin of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Kim Ursin-Cronin of Rushville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and two husbands, Alice was preceded in death by a brother, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service that same day at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
