RUSHVILLE —
Grant Michael Brower, 10, of Milroy, earned his angel wings Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
Grant was born April 28, 2002 to Jason and Becky (Jarman) Brower. He was deeply loved by his big sister, Payton; his grandparents, Don and Regina Jarman of Milroy and Peggy Brower of Milroy (formerly of Kendallville).
Grant had two uncles, Scott Jarman of Nashville, Tenn. and David Jarman (Amanda) of Milroy. Cousins were Sedric, Kody and Corey Jarman.
He was lucky to have hundreds of family members, loyal teammates and great friends. He attended Milroy United Methodist Church. He was an Honor Roll student at Milroy Elementary School where he participated in Spell Bowl, Math Bowl and basketball. Grant was a member of travel teams with Rush County Youth Baseball and Rush County Youth Basketball Leagues. He was a leader both on and off the field/court. For fun, Grant liked to watch any sport on TV, especially IU basketball and Colts/Notre Dame football. He especially loved the chances he had to go to watch live ball games with his dad and grandpa. He loved putting puzzles together with his grandmas and sister, reading with his mom and playing Madden on the Wii.
Funeral service are 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Milroy United Methodist Church with Pastors Valerie Wilson and Ron Simbro officiating. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements entrusted to Burns Funeral Home, Milroy.
Memorial contributions can be made in Grant’s name through Milroy United Methodist Church and Milroy Christian Church.
