William “Tater” Thompson, 38

Rushville Republican

RUSHVILLE — William “Tater” Thompson, 38, former Rushville resident, passed away Oct. 7, 2012 in Shelbyville.

He was born July 8, 1974 in Connersville to Kenneth and Carolyn (Ruddick) Thompson. He married Shelly Dice Oct. 25, 1996; she survives.  

William worked as a quality inspector at Fountaintown Precision Forge.

In addition to his wife, Shelly, William is survived by his parents, Kenneth and step mother Sue Thompson of Milroy, Carolyn and step father Dallas Sparks of Shelbyville; five sisters, Mickey Conley of Kendallville, Kim Thompson and Jodie Lawson, both of Rushville, Christina Thompson and Scarlet Guillot, both of Shelbyville; a grandmother, Kate Ruddick of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by two daughters, Kati Thompson and Cheyenne Hall.  

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at Moster Mortuary in Rushville where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Rev. David Gates will preside.
