Lynn Doyen Crowder, 83
Lynn Doyen Crowder, 83, of Atlanta, Ga., died Dec. 12, 2009.
Born June 16, 1926 in Naperville, Ill., he was the son of Agnes and T. Doyen Crowder, both deceased.
Mr. Crowder grew up in Rushville and graduated from Rushville High School. He was drafted during his senior year of high school and served with the Occupation Army in Germany. He attended Earlham College, Miami at Oxford and graduated from Florida Southern College in 1952. He was with Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years and self-employed for 10 years thereafter. He was a member of Elks Club 1307.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy; daughters, Lisa Crowder of John's Creek, Ga. and Gail (Chip) Schuneman; grandchildren, Spencer and Leslie Schuneman of Montgomery, Ala.; and brother, Mel (Becky) Crowder of Rushville.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
