Nichole M. Newkirk, 30, of Rushville, passed away Aug. 22, 2010 at Methodist Hospital. Nichole Marie Anders was born Nov. 4, 1979 in Rockford, Ill. to Russell and Brenda (Stephens) Anders, both living. Nichole separated this life and leaves behind lots of fond memories for family and friends to share about her kindness towards others, her love toward animals, her love of riding horses and rescuing stray animals. The country girl inside her led her to Rushville to raise a family of her own. She had lived in Rushville the past 12 years; prior to that she lived in Rockford, Ill. She was a member of Plum Creek Christian Church and a 1997 graduate of Winnebago High School in Winnebago, Ill. Nichole had worked at McDonald's in Rushville the last couple of years. She leaves behind her fiancé, Tracy D. Stanley of Rushville; parents, Russell and Brenda Anders of Corning, Ark.; son, Stephen Newkirk of Mays and Isabella Newkirk of Rushville; brother, Mike and Krista Anders of Rockford, Ill.; sister, Brittney Anders of Rushville; and grandmother, Nell Gifford of Rockford, Ill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Ray Sweet III and Tony Augsburger officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wells Fargo Bank in Rushville or Stillman Bank in Rockford, Ill.
