RUSHVILLE —
Winright Ingram, 87, of Rushville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 21, 1925 in Berea, Ky. to Peter and Rachel (Gabbard) Ingram.
Winright had lived in Rush County since 1948. He married Sandra (Campbell) April 27, 1974; she survives.
He retired in 1988 from WCI after 20 years working as a machinist. He was a mechanic and truck driver many years for Farthing Sales. Winright attended Plum Creek Christian Church in Rush County.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra of Rushville; daughters, Wendy and Charles Isaacs of Laurel, Michele Gray of Rushville, Rachel and Boyd Isaacs of Laurel, Christina Ingram of Rushville, Barbara Ann Ingram of Clarksburg, Gloria and Ronnie Stapler of Wyoming, Mich., Helen and Woody Frasher of Connersville, June and Robert Harvey of Laurel; step daughters, Sheila Love of Rushville and Tammy and James Cress of Rushville; a step son, James Moore of Rushville; a sister, Lucille and Ronnie Harsh of Connersville; 35 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Winright was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Ingram; a daughter, Ruth Ingram; a step son, William Moore; a granddaughter; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Ray Sweet III presiding. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Decatur County.
