Lucille B. Brown


Lucille B. Brown, 90, of Rushville, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at Flatrock River Lodge.

Born April 2, 1915, in Sheldon, she was the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Keller) Baldwin, both deceased. She married Donald Dean Brown Sept. 19, 1934; he preceded her in death in 1959.

Mrs. Brown worked as a sales clerk at Neff Shoes for 37 years. She was a member of Rushville BPW.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ellis of Rushville; one son, Gene Brown of Evansville; one sister, Helen Parke of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Baldwin.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Allen Phillips officiating. Entombment will follow in East Hill Shrine Mausoleum in Rushville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
