Karen M. Cornett, 50, of Rushville, died Saturday, March 22, 2008.
Born Sept. 24, 1957 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Willis and Arletta (Brook) Cornett, both deceased.
Ms. Cornett had worked on the custodial staff at the Rush County Courthouse as well as at several area factories over the years. She will always be remembered for her gift of laughter and love of animals.
Survivors include son, Travis Mayse of Rushville; daughter, Tia Cornett of Rushville; brother, Daniel Cornett of Rushville; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Mick Saunders officiating. Burial will take place in Harrison, Ohio. Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.
