Gail (Mohr) Youngclaus, 62, of Greenfield, died Sept. 12, 2008.
Born Aug. 17, 1946 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Maurice and Cecilia (Voelker) Mohr.
Mrs. Youngclaus was a 1964 graduate of Hancock Central and went on to Indiana University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in education. She was a teacher at Greenfield Middle School with Hancock County Joint Services. She attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Fortville.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Youngclaus of Greenfield; mother, Cecilia (Voelker) Mohr of Greenfield; son, Sean (Tarra Willey) Youngclaus of Greenfield; daughter, Wendy (Nathan) Schmiedicke of Philadelphia, Pa.; five siblings, Roy (Marilyn) Mohr of Rushville, Ronnie (Sarah) Mohr of Greenfield, Robert (Ann) Mohr of South Carolina, Joyce (Mike) Holmes of Greenfield and Joe (Pat) Mohr of Greenfield; and four grandchildren, Elijah, Jonah, Joseph, and Josiah Schmiedicke.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenfield’s Cooper Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
