RUSHVILLE — Cecilia F. Emerson, 67, of Rushville, passed away Oct. 30, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born Dec. 2, 1944 in Laredo, Texas, a daughter of the late James H. and Ruth (Baird) Lewis. She met Jim Emerson while he was in the US Air Force and stationed in Texas and they were married Dec. 21, 1965; he survives. She was a homemaker and attended St. Mary Catholic Church.

Others left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Jodi Ann Emerson of Connersville; two brothers, Tommy (Jennifer) Lewis of Louisiana and Michael (Kathy) Lewis of Texas; two sisters, Jeannie (Jack) Hill of Ohio and Laura (Armondo) Falascino of Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her son, John C. Emerson, in 2012.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
