Vicky S. Buttery, 61, of Liberty, died March 8, 2010.
Born June 13, 1948 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Wayne Stearns and Rosalynn Wood Beamer.
Mrs. Buttery attended Rushville area schools. For more than 20 years she worked at Kmart in Oxford, Ohio, and was the assistant manager when the store closed. Throughout her life she was always a hard worker, but what brought her the most joy was being a grandma.
Survivors include children, Misty (Glenn) Woosley of West College Corner, Troy (Brandy) Stearns of Oxford, Ohio and Richard Stearns of Blue Ash, Ohio; sisters, Diane Mullins of Greensburg and Janie Stanley of Rushville; grandchildren, Michelle Woosley, Michael Woosley, Catie Rose Stearns, Katelynn Stearns, Gavin Stearns, Logan Stearns and Taylor Broshear.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sandy Hamer and Sherry Stearns.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in College Corner Cemetery with Pastor Estel Stewart officiating.
Memorial contributions be made to Liberty Church of Christ.
