Lloyd E. Schnuelle, 88

Rushville Republican

RUSHVILLE — Lloyd E. Schnuelle, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.

Lloyd was born July 8, 1924 in Harbine, Neb. to the late Otto E. and Louise Arnold Schnuelle. He was a graduate of Doane College and was an US Army Air Corps veteran in World War II. Lloyd worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance for 41 years, retiring as a Claims Manager in 1989. Lloyd was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Brookshire Golf Club and the Indiana Seniors Golf Association.

Memorial services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann; children, David (Cindy) Schnuelle, Laura (William) Steenstrup and Kay (Roger) Daniel; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Leeson and Jean Duff.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard and Vernon Schnuelle.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel.
