The Carthage Literary Club held their monthly meeting Sept. 11 at the Community Center. The seven people in attendance were Bob Proctor, Mary Nigh, Kim Heim, Jim and Judy Neal, Denise Akers and guest Pat Purcell.
Jim Neal gave the program by reporting on "The Reversal" by Michael Connelly. In the mystery, defense attorney Mickey Haller is called "the Lincoln lawyer" because he works out of the back seat of his car which happened to be a Lincoln. The story takes many twists and turns involving murder, DNA and a serial killer and is one of a series. The report was well-received by all present.
The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Carthage Community Center. Mary Nigh will
be the program leader and everyone is welcome to attend.
