RUSHVILLE —
The Noah family reunion for 2012 was canceled due to inclement weather predictions because of tropical story Isaac.
This is the first cancellation since 1994 where it has been held outside at the Don-Sha Retreat in Decatur County. The usual Friday night set-up and wiener roast went ahead as planned with 33 attending. There were six of eight remaining siblings present of the original family of 15 born to Earl and Elva Noah who were married Dec. 23, 1916. Family members present were from Florida, Tennessee and Indiana.
The next reunion will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

The members of Psi Iota Xi, Iota chapter held a Mother-Daughter-Doll Tea on Sunday, May 5 in the basement of St Paul’s United Methodist Church. Mothers, daughters and their dolls gathered for an afternoon of pleasantries.
