Walker Ribbon Winners met at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Walker Township Conservation Club. Leaders are Sandy Gordon and Angie Buckley.
The American pledge was led by Mason Gordon and the 4-H pledge was led by Nathan Moran.
Roll Call was your favorite Christmas gift.
The health and safety report was given by Brittany Kuhn on frost bite.
Songs were led by Angie Buckley with the 4-H Song.
Officers were elected and members signed up for demonstrations.
The next meeting is at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
Refreshments were provided by Sandy Gordon.

Richland Wide Awake Club celebrates Mother’s Day
On May 15, six members and nine guests met at the New Salem Lions Club for their annual Mother’s Day Dinner. Hostesses were Diana Bedel, Julie Leach and Jan Roberts.

The Jivin Jackson 4-H Club met May 14 at the Jackson Township Community Club with Jarrod White calling the meeting to order, Caitlyn Morris leading the American pledge and Devan Draper leading the 4-H pledge.

Mother-Daughter-Doll Tea a success
The members of Psi Iota Xi, Iota chapter held a Mother-Daughter-Doll Tea on Sunday, May 5 in the basement of St Paul’s United Methodist Church. Mothers, daughters and their dolls gathered for an afternoon of pleasantries.

The RCHS Class of 1983 is planning their 30 year class reunion for this summer. The event will take place starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Knights of Columbus.

Cayla Simmermon and Mylee Simmermon, both at Butler University and from Knightstown, were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
