Posey Pride

RUSHVILLE — Posey Pride Club met Dec. 2 at the Posey Township Fire Department.

Lurinda Smith serves as leader.

Blake Dougherty led the American Pledge and Jessica Miller led the 4-H Pledge.

Election of officers was held. Serving are president James Brashaber, vice president Monica Dougherty, secretary Abby Clark, treasurer Jessica Miller and news reporter Katie Miller. Also serving will be association newspaper Michaela Colestock, health reporter Shannon Dougherty, safety reporters Jenna Geise and Jocelyn Geise, song leaders Lean Kemple, Marissa Sullivan, Renee Doll, Maria Geise and Caroline Kuhn, recreating leaders Hunter Norris, James Brashaber and Caroline Kuhn.

The Junior Leader led the group in a short ice breaker. Green books and completion pins were passed out.

Refreshments were provided by Lurinda Smith. The next meeting will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Garret Sammons, secretary called the meeting to order with John Alexander leading the American pledge and Kylee Macy leading the 4-H pledge.

  • Noble Niters meet

    The Noble Niters met May 29 at New Salem Methodist Church Ed building. Fifteen members and four guests attended. Linda Murphy read “Graduation” for inspiration. She also gave a report on “How to Buy Bliss.” The members discussed plans for Achievement Night in October.
