Rush County Extension club members of Homemakers On the Go reported to the Henry Henley Public Library in Carthage two hours previous to meeting time Sept. 25 to help out with fall cleaning needs at the building used each month for club meetings.
After collectively pitching in with elbow grease and brooms and mops, a light meal was served to members by co-hostesses Judy Neal and Patty Bundy.
The meeting opened with reciting of the Homemakers Creed.
Members answering roll call by telling the name of a childhood best friend were Abby Wehr, Rita Leisure, Marsha Westerfeld, Claire Mercer, Carolyn Lewis, Judy Barnes, Patty Bundy, Judy Neal, and guest, Pat Purcell. President Abby Wehr thanked members for all the work done before the meeting began.
