Noble Niters Home Ec Club
The Noble Niters Home Ec Club met April 24 at the New Salem Methodist Church Ed Building. Marlene Fudge was host and Karen Hoeing was co-host. Eleven members and one guest answered the roll call response with their middle name.

Walker Ribbon Winners 4-H Club meet
On April 21, the Walker Ribbon Winners met at the Walker Township Conservation Club. The American Pledge was led by Brittany Kuhn and the 4-H Pledge was led by Mitchell Waggoner, Roll call was what is your favorite vegetable with 13 members present, 5 guests and leaders, Sandy Gordon and Angela Buckley.

Justin Paul Yager of Milroy has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). He is the son of Steve and Kim Yager of Milroy and attends Butler University.

DAR readies for state conference
The Rushville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at the home of Patricia Carrigan on Saturday, April 13, 2013. There were 25 members and guests in attendance. Lisa Winship, regent, opened the meeting and led the regular DAR ritual.

The 4-H rocketry club met at 5:30 p.m. April 17 at the Rushville Public Library.

Darryl Cooper (right) became the newest member inducted into the Rushville Breakfast Optimist Club at their meeting April 16. His sponsor was Optimist John Wall (left). The Optimist Club meets at 6:15 a.m. every Tuesday at the Park Restaurant. Their motto is “Friend of Youth.”
