9:35 a.m.: James Allen Laker, 47, of Rushville, was arrested on a charge of battery.

1:22 p.m.: Hit and run accident reported in the 1800 block of North Main Street.

4:19 p.m.: Theft reported in the 1900 block of North Flatrock River Road.

10:31 p.m.: Amie Dawn Hernandez, 24, of Shelbyville, was arrested in SR 44 near CR 125W on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after driving privileges were suspended for being deemed a habitual traffic violator.

6:36 p.m.: Loretta A. Shaw, 70, of Rushville, was involved in a vehicle versus deer accident on U.S. 52 near CR 875W.

12/4/12

6:36 p.m.: Vehicle versus deer accident reported in the 2800 block of East SR 244.

9:05 p.m.: Edward Wayne Burgdorfer, 34, of Glenwood, was arrested in the 2500 block of South CR 800E for failure to appear.
