RUSHVILLE —
Brian Wallen and Alexis Klosinski will kick off the first-ever "Cowboy Church" at 5 p.m. Sunday at Little Flatrock Christian Church, Rushville. "Cowboy Church" is inspirational music provided in a church setting and allows those in attendance to enjoy the service in a very casual
atmosphere. The community is invited to "come as you are" and enjoy this hour of special music and inspiration.
Brian Wallen is a talented artist who has performed more than 400 shows including several appearances at both Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. Brian was named the 2011 Blues Artist of the year and featured on the cover of Cincy Metromix. Brian, who is from Milton, plays 11 instruments and is a blues artist who loves the Lord and gospel music. Ê
Alexis Klosinski is a talented drummer of 10 years out of Elkhart. She has a passion for Motown, funk, and gospel music; in other words, she likes to groove. That groove has taken her to many places: Multiple State-level Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) competitions, a tour of Europe with the Indiana All-Star Band, and to the steps of the prestigious Berklee College of Music as an accepted applicant. Alexis has also won numerous other awards and opportunities with her drumming.
Alexis is now playing alongside Brian Keith Wallen, a phenomenal blues guitarist also from the Hoosier State. Together they have fused their musical backgrounds to create a sound unique to both of them. They hope to simply spread joy as performers for the rest of their lives wherever that may take them.
Little Flatrock Christian Church is a Disciples of Christ Church and invites the entire community to come out and visit at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, for its first-ever "Cowboy Church" featuring Brian Wallen and Alexis Klosinski as they share the wonderful talents that God has given them. Ê For
more information, please contact Pastor Pat Smith at 765-932-4900.
